Last Friday The Ladies’ Share met in Mjøndalen. We were pretty excited and looking forward to a tasting with Bengt from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Sweden.
About The Scotch Malt Whisky Society from their web page:
Our Society grew out of a few individuals’ irrepressible spirit of discovery and adventure, which still drives us today. Inspired by the unique character of a single malt whisky cask, purchased over 30 years ago from a Speyside distillery, this pioneering group of friends founded the Society in 1983 to buy more casks and share their discovery with like-minded adventurers.
Today the Society has 35000 members in 17 countries. The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Sweden has 450 members from Norway and Sweden.

Each Lady got to vote for two whiskies. The result: 29.63 (8 votes), 4.135 (7 votes), 10.75 (2 votes), 53.173 (1 vote) and 33.104 (no vote).
Wow, what a tasting! It has been a long time since I have enjoyed a tasting with whiskies at this high level.
Thanks, Bengt! We had an amazing evening!
