This is maybe the best buy from Cinderella Whisky Fair if I take the price into consideration.
Tullibardine Distillery is located in the region Highland i Scotland. The Murray is part of their The Marquess Collection. The Murray I have tasted was matured in first-fill Bourbon casks and bottled at 56,1 ABV.
Rich vanilla on the nose. Fresh with green notes. Eucalyptus and lime zest. Dusty. Mmm… So smooth and complex on the palate. Vanilla, peach and white pepper. It is really fruity with mango and honey melon. A lingering finish with vanilla, mango nutmeg and peanut shell.
My score: nose 22 / taste 24 / finish 23 / balance 24 = 93
Wow, this one is almost as good as my favourite Highland Park whiskies Freya and Ice!

For me this one was very strange in the beginning. For the first 3-4 drams i didn’t like it at all. After 3 months i tried it again and it somehow turned in to a really good whisky. Will most likely buy again.
